Vesper

I am considering sending the chair back. The massage works well, very well; but the chair is not the most comfortable. It’s very hard, as in the edge of the arms and the leg “holders” are hard. If you aren’t sitting still with your legs and arms in the massage receiving position there is no comfortability. Everything is so hard. It’s also hard to raise out of it, instructions advise you not to step down on the foot part, but it’s the only way to get out of it! The worse part is, unless the chair is turned on and is actively giving you a massage, the back support is nonexistent. It’s C curved so it sinks in when the rollers are not rotating, and still a little when they are. It’s awful just sitting in it because it makes my back hurt trying to sit back. I bought this chair to sit in my living room and expected comfortability even if I’m just sitting in it. This works well for a tucked away chair that’s used for a massage only. If I’m not getting a massage I don’t sit in it.

Coping with RA for many years, I find massage chairs to be most helpful in maintaining my strong mobility. The Vesper is the greatest one yet. I own another Ozaki chair - I have one in each of my 3 residences. The Vesper offers quiet smooth movement and I love all the pre-programmed routines! My massage chair is my "go to" chair. I do 2-4 massage routines per day and I often lounge in the chair for TV, reading, relaxing since the zero gravity provides great joint/muscle relief. Many years ago I went to a chiropractor and massages - these chairs have saved me a fortune and I have the daily relief they provide. I highly recommend the Ozaki Vesper chair!
