One of the the single best features of the Rejuv 4D for me is its smaller (18") width of the footrest--for a reason that might not be obvious when shopping online. The narrower width makes it much easier to get in and out of the chair, safely straddling the footrest with each leg while maintaining sufficient stability as I lower myself down into the chair. I'm a 5'9" senior, with balance problems. On a very nice, pricier chair I physically tried, the 21" wide footrest was just about unmanageable for me. Unless you are athletic, with long, flexible legs, or something to grab ahold of for support as you enter and exit the chair, this is an important consideration.
I agree there's room for improvement in the controls. As mentioned in another review, when a program ends, power shuts down and the chair remains in an elevated position. To get off, you have to re-start, select another program, then hit the "off" button which will lower the footrest to the original position, so you can get off. This is a glitch; it would be nice if Osaki offered a retrofit. Also agree, anyone much over 6'0" and 220 lbs should probably look elsewhere.
But because the overall 4D massage experience is so nice, plus my ability to get in and out of the chair with ease, I'm very happy with the purchase.
