Hello. Long time sore back sufferer. This massage chair melts the pain away.
I saw some reviews saying the mechanism was too strong...I agree that for the first week of using it was painful at times. But no more so than an actual masseuse can be when they get into the sore spots.
There are programs that offer a more gentle massage and you can customize and just massage a specific area using a specific technique. By the second week of using, my body adjusted to the strength and now I look forward to the mechanism getting in those painful, tight areas.
The AI scan massage is my favorite and I usually use that program first. Then after 10 minutes or so of that function, I use one of the programs.
I was not thrilled with the shipping method, which in my case was FedEx Freight. FedEx called me the day before the delivery and set up a time. I had helpers arranged to help me with the chair...FedEx did not show up until well after the arranged window, stating that the freight was never an appointment time, even though they called ME and set up the time they were going to deliver. Luckily the driver was a good guy and he helped me wrestle it into my front door instead of leaving it on the street. I still had to remove the chair from a HUGE box and that was a chore.
Once it was in place it was as simple as plugging it in. I don't know if it is worth the extra dough to pay for the "white glove" service. I feel like there should be something in between...at least don't leave it out in the weather...but the shipper chose the cheapest option available I suppose, which in my case was FedEx Freight.
The chair is easily 5 stars, but the delivery was a 2.

Spent the $$ for what we thought was the best. Called told them the problem, said they would send replacement parts. Took three more calls and weeks to get it. Was supposed to be an easy replacement. Not! Sent it back. Buying a different brand.

Strong enough for someone work hard!

Love it, only wish is that it worked hamstrings!
