Osaki OS-3D Hamilton LE

I did a lot of research on massage chairs before purchasing the Osaki brand. However we have had issues with it since day 2. The remote and the chair don’t seem to to talk to each other consistently. The remote thinks it’s running the program, but the chair does nothing. My husband and I have even gotten stuck in the chair in the recline position because it wouldn’t reset itself! The only way to reset it is to turn it off after each use - and sometimes we even have to unplug it from the wall.

After several emails to support, a new motherboard and remote was ordered. Service came to my house and exchanged the parts. Unfortunately that “fix” only lasted a day.

So now the process starts all over. I’ve had this chair for only about a month and I’m a so disappointed.

When the chair works, it’s great. Takes a little getting used to the intensity of the airbags and rollers. We haven’t been able to create any custom programs because unplugging it performs a factory reset.

I purchased a new Osaki Hamilton LE chair and it arrived with damage from the packing and also the seat cushion zipper is separated and the stiitxjing appears to have never been correct from manufacturing.

This chair is less than 5 months old and has seen very minimal use. I contacted Osaki, initiated a warranty case and provided pictures with the information.

Osaki responded stating the seat cushion would not be covered under warranty and neither would the trim which was damaged from running on the packing.

You spend $5000 on what is supposed to be a quality product and is supposed to be from a quality manufacturer but instead the truth is once they have your money they could care less about you or the product they sold you.

I definitely regret my decision to purchase anything from Osaki and wish I would have chose a better company to spend my money with who would actually stand behind their products.

If I could choose less than one star I absolutely would.

The chair is fantastic. I am gradually getting used to it. I actually think I can now walk better & longer and also sleep better. So far so good. You can ’t have it back.

First let me say this was a great buy! I will give pros and cons for a balanced review. Why I chose Osaki over other brands? Well, navigating the various brands out there, seems like every furniture dealer has their own brand, as well as the internet (Amazon). For me Costco has Osaki brand, and a retailer that has trusted brand name and their recognition helped with the decision over other brands.

Pro -
- I went with the LE Hamilton as it was best bang for the buck, features, styles and programs.
- Taxes and shipping was included. If you went through other on line retailers you may or may not have recieved this.
- Shipping, while I cannot say this for every purchase, my chair came in just over a week and 1500 miles away. Packaging was solid, supported by a small palette and strapped to pallet. (Be careful not to cut the boxing straps. Those will help you move the box around and there are handles in the cardboard that helps ) packaged tight in Styrofoam and a thin plywood top and bottom in the box.
- Customer support. I called prior to purchase asking about several questions from taxes, shipping and assembly. All were answered in a professional manner and she assured me that I didn't need the white glove delivery and assembly. My 17 yr old daughter and I assembled and moved it relatively easy. The back of the chair has wheels to tip and roll into place.

Cons-
- While it has many programs and features, it does take a while to learn. Not all feel or will work for you. Some features you may not like but cannot remove from program. The remote is not as intuitive as I would like.
- Blue tooth shuts off every time. If you want to do a second round, the Bluetooth shuts off and you have to urn back on. I remember reading in one review, I don't know if it was for the Hamilton. But it said the speakers was junk. While it's not Bose or Beats, it does satisfactorily.
- Adjustment. While I'm 5'10" I feel that if I were 6 ft it be a better fit. That is to say the chair depth to the angle where your knee bends into the leg portion, for me is too deep.

Overall I give it a 5 star review. I've used it everyday since it came in to figure out which programs I like. Rejuvenating, air massage, office, and good nights rest are my top. If you have heavy knots ot tension most others are high intensity.
I can't speak on longevity or parts and labor. But so far I am satisfied with my purchase. I wish I had sat in a 8 or 9 thousand dollar one to truly compare the value, but for this price point I am happy.

The chair I purchased is the best investment I have ever purchased in my life. This product will safe my life and add 10 years to it for the line of work I'm in. I am very proud of the purchase. It hits all the trigger points after a great night of officiating.
